Sichuan Haida Rubber Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Haida Group) is the only large-scale national designated backbone enterprise in Sichuan integrating the research and development, operation and production of commercial vehicle tires and passenger car tires. It is also the largest demonstration base of the R&D and manufacturing of commercial radial tires and passenger car radial tires in Sichuan. The products are divided into three categories: all-steel commercial radial tires, semi-steel passenger car radial tires, and bias commercial tires, with more than 1,000 varieties and specifications in 25 series, covering construction machinery, heavy-duty trucks, light-duty trucks, large passenger cars, medium-sized passenger cars, sedans, SUVs and other commercial vehicles and passenger cars, and other mainstream models. “Haida” tire is a world-renowned brand, recommended brand for passenger radial tires by the Chinese rubber industry, and Sichuan Famous Brand; “Tianfu” trademark is a Chinese Famous Brand; and “Panda” trademark is Sichuan Famous Brand. Haida Group’s all-steel radial tires are divided into two categories, including the short-distance, medium and short-distance, medium and long-distance, long-distance, mines and other product series; the semi-steel radial tires consist of PCR, SUV, UHP and ST series; the bias tires include Golden Tianfu, engineering tires, mining tires, industrial tires, agricultural tires and other product series. In 2011, Haida Group achieved a check-up production capacity of 8.6 million units/year, where in that of the semi-steel radial tires for passenger cars is 7 million units/year, that of all-steel commercial radial tires is 600,000 units/year, and bias commercial is 1 million units/year; the sales income reached RMB 1.6 billion. Haida high-performance, wide-section, low rolling resistance semi-steel radial tires for passenger cars and other products have won the six prizes of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Sichuan; it has obtained 52 national invention patents and utility model patents; the product quality is stable and the brand has been recognized by major international and domestic recognition customers. Haida Group has three market segments: export, supporting, and replacing products. In 2011 it earned $50 million of foreign exchanges, and the products exported to more than 89 countries and regions in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, Australia and Southeast Asia; it has formed long-term strategic partnerships of stable supporting production with Chongqing Heavy Vehicle Group, Shaanxi Zhongqi, Chongqing Isuzu, Chery Automobile, Chang'an Automobile, SGMW, DFSK, Great Wall Motor, Zhongxing Automobile, FAW Hongta, Suzhou Jinlong, Zhejiang Goodsense Forklift Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and other companies.
