Hostile Wheels – Taking Awesomeness Off-Road

Chevy Silverado 2500 on Hostile H109 Alpha in Blade Cut
A subsidiary of MKW Alloy, the Hostile wheel brand was launched in 2012 and became the hottest wheel attraction at the SEMA show debuting hot, aggressive, large diameter wheels with mind-blowing designs for off-road trucks, UTVs and SUVs; a concept not embraced by other wheel makers of the time. Hostile wheels transformed Ford F-150s, Chevy Silverados, Ram 1500s with 6” lift kits into not just rugged off-road rides, but crazy, bad ass juggernauts conquering rocks, sand, mud and dirt and looking downright awesome doing it. Orders poured in for the initial line of Hostile wheels.

Unfortunately, Hostile had a limited dealer network making ordering and order fulfillment difficult, and much of their imported stock sat on ships at sea due to a strike by dock workers on the West coast causing a rocky and less than rewarding first time buyer experience. But that was then, and this is now. Based in Commerce City, CA Hostile continues to focus on large diameter off-road rims and. has developed an extensive network of dealers to handle what continues to be the hottest brand for off-road truck wheels.

And there’s a reason for that. Hostile is packed with radical off-road enthusiasts designing, manufacturing and finishing these cast aluminum alloy wheels. They have taken the whole large diameter thing to the ultimate level creating wheels that are the basis for some of the wildest custom off-road builds ever. These trend setting bad boys stay on top of the off-road market and consistently drop new products that meet exactly what serious enthusiasts want.

Hostile Wheels in Demand

When you want an off-road wheel with a proven record of durability, reliability ,performance and incredible attention to finish; and you want it to send a message to everyone who sees it, then you want a Hostile off-road wheel:

H114 Hostile Fury Armor Plated

H114 Hostile Fury

This is a complex wheel with overlapping Y spokes that may be a bit too busy for some rides. They are a stand-alone feature meaning they look best on trucks with the blacked-out treatment available on F-150s and Ram-1500s or on rides with serious lift kits installed. Available in both Blade Cut Glossy Black and Armor Plating chrome finishes, these wheels come in a variety of diameters and rim widths and accommodate 6 or 8 bolt patterns.

H109 Hostile Alpha

H109 Hostile Alpha

The Aloha is a straightforward, aggressive-looking, 8 spoke wheel that will look great on almost any truck that needs a 20 inch diameter. Its concave design has an almost 3D look thanks to the raised center cap and it really stands out with the available 14 inch rim width. Available in a Glossy Black Milled finish in sizes 20x9 to 20x14, the Alpha accepts 5, 6 and 8 bolt patterns.

H120 Hostile Vulcan in Blade Cut

H120 Hostile Vulcan

There is a lot going on with this wheel. An innovative 8 spoke Y design catches your eye and keeps it. In Glossy Black Milled finish with machined accents it looks great on any off-road ride. But when you go Armor Plating chrome, and you get into the larger sizes, the windows get bigger and the spokes get thinner and the whole thing takes on a “show wheel” look. Available in 20x10, 20x12, 22x10, 22x12, 24x12, 24x14 sizes, the Vulcan takes 5, 6 and 8 bolt patterns.

H113 Hostile Rage in Blade Cut

H113 Hostile Rage

The Rage is an excellent example of the extra care and attention that Hostile applies to its finishes. The rage is a fairly simple concave design featuring 6 Y shaped spokes. But if you take a closer look, particularly on the Blade Cut finish, you will see that, unlike most wheel spokes from the competition which are cut with flat edges, Hostile takes the time to mill the spokes on an angle giving the wheel a unique design element. Like the rest of Hostile’s line, the bigger and wider the wheel size the more prominent the concave design becomes. The Hostile is available in 20x9, 20x10, 20x12, 22x10, 22x12, 22x14, 24x14 sizes.

H116 Hostile Jigsaw in Armor Plated

H116 Hostile Jigsaw

If you want an exotic look you really can’t beat the Hostile Jigsaw. Originally offered as a forged wheel, Hostile now offers a more affordable cast version that is really exciting and shows off the finishing skills of the Hostile team. While not a true directional wheel, it looks like one. And if you are driving a HD like a Ford F250 or you have an extreme lift, this bad boy is available in a 26x16 which is downright radical. Other sizes include 20x9, 20x10, 20x12, 22x12, 22x14, 24x14.
